Microsimulation Model to Examine Caregiving

Leveraging Pitt's synthetic population model, researchers aim to provide insight into the health and financial impact of various policy decisions. The model enables researchers to consider both the immediate and long-term impact of decisions (health policies, tax credits to caregivers, etc.) on individuals of different demographic, economic, and health profiles. This allows for better targeting and translation of evidence into effective policy to support and strengthen informal caregiving.
