Biography
Dr. Good is a staff physician at the Pittsburgh VA Medical Center, core faculty member for the Center for Health Equity Research and Promotion, and professor of medicine and pharmacy at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Good is nationally recognized for his work in medication safety, pharmacy benefits management, and cost-effective use of pharmaceuticals. He has served as the chairperson for the VA Pharmacy Benefits Management Medical Advisory Panel since 1999, and is the Co-Director of the VA Center for Medication Safety. He is a charter member of the FDA Drug Safety Oversight Board; he currently serves on the Therapeutic Information and Formulary Support Expert Committee of the USP. Dr. Good has been an invited speaker at many national and international pharmacy conferences.
